The interview: Jason Alba

Jason Alba started his professional career as a programming intern at a fertilizer company. He became passionate about dev projects that supported business functions and loved jumping from HR to finance to management projects. His passion is strategy, and execution of strategy, which led him to pioneer an IT Manager role in a growing facility management company. Throughout Jason’s corporate career he has been involved in merging other organizations into his business units and has been passionate about creating optimized work environments.
Jason’s career took a drastic turn in 2006 when he was laid off and started what he calls his Big Fat Failed Job Search. This created room for him to start a software company, get three books published, become a professional speaker, and invest in other companies. Jason is passionate about career management and organizational culture.
